About
Chester Netball Club was founded by Pam Lucas in 1982 for people who wanted to play Netball socially. However, the idea of social netball quickly transitioned into competitive netball and Chester Netball Club began to enter local leagues.
Chester Netball is now one of the largest and most successful clubs in the area. We have thriving Junior and Senior sections. Our Junior teams compete in leagues and competitions across the county and the north west and also take part in the national clubs competition. Many of our young players get selected for the county squads and scouted for Regional programmes. The seniors compete in local, county, regional and national leagues and achieve a great degree of success at all levels of competition. We currently have players that compete for Wales and in the Superleague and NTL.
Chester Netball Club always strives to provide the best possible coaching and opportunities for our players. Our coaches regularly attend courses and workshops to keep up to date with the latest developments in the game.
